This is the hugest one time collection of a food porn Friday I’ve ever put out. Mainly because I’ve been super busy and saving my load….. (And holding down 3 jobs has been crazy)

Food Porn Friday – January 11

It’s cold, it’s snowy, it’s crappy. But at least we have food porn!

: Briskey in a super sweet BBQ sauce

: First Bento Project of the year: Lamb merguz sausage, Brussels sprouts

: Something about this dish gives me a really famillar and comfortable feeling

: Duck on wonton crisps with guac, salsa verde, cumin yoghurt. It’s like a taco

: Soft, crispy, melty, sour, spicy in one bite

: Best fucking idea I have ever heard of. Nibble at Bahn Mi components just like you would French style

Food Porn Friday – November 2

I’m back with a month’s worth of Food Porn Friday. It’s been a very busy month for eating and cooking, especially with travels to Momofuku and Cafe Boulud. Enjoy a massive flood of food porn!

: A dinner with friends requires great wine… a lot of it

: I don’t remember where I had this, but I think it’s crispy seared ahi tuna with an egg! Can’t go wrong.

Food Porn Friday – August 17

It’s a light week for food porn. I’ve been busy this week sorting out life. Meh!

: A little restocking trip to try some new (to me) product

: Carefully controlling the temperature…. it’s difficult with a slow reacting electric element stove

: All set to make some tonkatsu!

: Done. I pop them into a low heat oven to let them drain and keep them crispy

: Nothing screams “manly kitchen” than dino sized hunks of meat grilling over fire and coals

: Mmmm duck and beets, 2 of my fav things

: A classic take on HK fast food. Using a duck broth with miso and bacon tare to fortify the flavours.

: Woe is me, had to make a mug of manhattan because I don’t have proper tumblers

: It’s Taber corn time!

: Corn, black bean, lime, cilantro, cayenne, jalapenos, makes an awesome summer salad
