Masters of Yore – FFWD

In my travels to other parts of the world I often see restaurants that only do one style of food, one type of dish, or often, one dish only. Why don’t we see it more here? Those restaurants and chefs are so singular and focused that they are able to hone their often simple dishes to become something amazing. We need more of that here!

A Savvy Start

Learning how to cook is difficult, it’s even more complex if you have to fit it in between writing exams and binge drinking. Dan Clapson’s community based Start From Scratch program helps students learn the basics of cooking. The Calgary based program is now expanding to Saskatoon because of its success.
