The Made With Love Mixology competition happened on July 30 (I know, I’m playing a serious game of catchup). It was a showcase of what Calgary’s mixologists could do if given a little time and a lot of imagination. Syrups, ice creams, smoke machines and even hand-made candies made an appearance as over 350 people sampled Calgary’s most innovative drinks.
In the end, Nathan Head from Milk Tiger won with his tea infused beer cocktail. Congrats to Nathan and look forward to his write-up on October’s Culinaire magazine along with a spotlight on Calgary’s mixology community!
