It’s the end of summer which means you have about a month left to get in patio drinks and al fresco dining before the cold rolls in. Make the most of it!
- Brunch with my parents at Thompson’s at the Hyatt. Awesome food, awesome service.
- Best with a little apricot compote
- It’s fun on a bun!
- A cheese sauce made from sharp and old cheddar, onions, thyme and duck broth topped with some weird dutch cheese.
- Seared NY strips and grilled Taber corn. This is a summer dinner.
- Just perfectly done
- Ooey gooey potatoes
- Double your meat, double your fun
- A big bowl of meat, spices, dashi and other goodness
- Becomes some serious hamburgers
- This salad reminds me a lot of Japan. Same delicate flavours and textures
- The kakiage on the bottom is awesome. The salmon is pretty average tho.
- This should be their signature dish. Rare to find in Canada and it is amazingly tasty.
- Octopus ragout, chicken and onion, tomato and fried okra. Awesome way to start dinner
